351w On 67 Mustang Fuel Lines

You should run hard line where you can. If you are concerned about heat you can use insulation. Rubber is ok but like previously stated should be used only where needed.

    An Odd Problem?

This doesn't sound like an odd problem, it sounds like a pain in the butt. My Boss has problems with heat so I am changing the hood to the 302R spec hood this year when I have the cash. The air flow into the engine bay is restricted and the air flow out of the engine bay is restricted so heat...

Progress Thread I Have A Problem

Do you care about keeping the strut rods ? If you don't care about keeping the strut rod front setup I'm a big fan of the CCP stuff. I have their stuff on my 67 and I gotta say, the car drove great with their kit on the front end...

Rear End Makes Clunking Noise And Feels Loose, Grey Metallic Colored Diff Fluid

Sounds like nothing good. Are you sure you had the right kind of gear oil in there ? Does that Aubrun diff need friction modifier ? Was the gear noise caused by bearings or the ring and pinion gear ?

Questions about Granada swap on a '68.

Dood, talk about a threadsurection..... From what I understand, the tie rods will fit bit don't directly interchange. I think some companies sell spindle adapters for the tie rods.

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

Guess I was lucky on the Mach 1, the valve I got looked exactly like the one I had and was cheap. You can order by motorcraft part number from Rockauto to make sure you get the right part.

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

Not sure to be honest, I didn't know there were 2 different ones.

Bell Housing To Block Bolts (t-45)

Not sure about the cars with T45s because I haven't worked on them personally but on the later GTs with the TR3650 there is a black bracket that mounts to the top of the bellhousing. The bracket holds the O2 sensor wiring out of the way of the exhaust. If you leave this bracket out, the longer...

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

You can get the PCV hose and valve really cheap from Rockauto.com and they are genuine Ford parts. The replacement plastic hose with the rubber boots and the PCV valve are like 50 bux. I just did this on my Mach 1 not too long ago. Only down side is you have to wait for them to ship it to...

    2003 Mach1 Mustang Oil Cooler

First things first. You have to be careful when you install an oil cooler because they tend to cause a pressure drop in the oil system. If you use a crappy oil cooler, you get a higher pressure drop. First thing I would do is figure out what the pressure drop of the oil cooler you are trying...

    Radiator Upgrade

Stock t-stat and the fan turn on is stock at the moment. I can adjust the fan turn on setting in the tune if I need to. The Mishimoto and the Fluidynes had a bad reputations when it comes to leaks. Mishimoto revised their design and I haven't heard if the new design is much better but I...

    Radiator Upgrade

Car isn't going to be a drag car ever but it will see open track time at willow and california speed way. The motor has been freshly rebuild so I doubt the block is clogged with anything. Basically, the car is running hot after being run in traffic.

    Weak Airflow From Hvac

Hmm, I would check the air flow at the source just to start. Pulling that box out is a total pain. Maybe disconnect the main duct to it and stick your hand up there to feel the pressure ? I'm sure there are places that can rebuild the electric fan motor and upgrade the CFM output either with...

Borgeson Steering Swap Question About The Pump

Why not just replace your stock pump ? They only cost like 45-60 bux for a reman one... you can also rebuild them yourself if you have the time/tools.

    Radiator Upgrade

My dad's car is making too much power for his stock radiator. Do you guys know if the 03-04 Cobra radiator is the same as the GT radiator or if it is a bit beefier. His car isn't making more then a lightly upgraded Terminator so I figure if that radiator is good enough for a supercharged 4v...

04 Gt Rough Idle. Out Of Ideas...

The TIDs would have told you about a missfire on the cylinder without it throwing a code. You may or may not have a bad coil. Could also be the spark plug or the injector. Move the coil pack to another cylinder and read the TIDs after you have the issue again. You should see the missfire...

    Brakes/front Suspension Help/introduce Myself

I think I get what you mean. You may want to keep the lower control arm and strut rod as well as most of your steering linkage as well unless yours is really worn out. If it is worn out, Moog makes good stuff for steering. The lower control arm you have will have a rubber bushing as well. I...
