    I've always had manual trans cars so this is new to me. I put a c4 in my Fairlane and I don't know how they are downshifted. Does it need a cable or mechanical linkage? And where do I hook it to on the trans?

    Lol! It was the easiest way to get to what I was doing without killing my back. Today I took the gas tank out, and I'm taking it to be cleaned and sealed along with the radiator to be checked, cleaned, and/or repaired tomorrow.

    Well, I got the new motor and tranny in. I picked up a C4 and a torque converter Monday. I still have some engine bay cleaning to do, and I still need to figure out what I'm going to do about pulleys, because the 221's crank pulley is a 3 bolt. I need a matching set of v belt pulleys...

    They won't work right. I stripped a 96 that someone gave me and I had the same idea. Just holding it up to my 04 gt I knew it wouldn't be right. I seem to remember something about how the back edge where it meets the back glass being an issue, as well.

    Trying to get rarity of this 1970 Mach 1

    I agree with getting a marti report. I got the 40$ one for my 68 because I thought it would be cool to have. For something like though I would get the deluxe. It's much more detailed.
