    ODB codes reader...

    To clarify the use of these, you will need to count beeps or flashes of the indicator light and decode the code with a manual. This is not like an OBD II, it's significantly more annoying. The better ODB I scanners are expensive.

    What about that was difficult to understand? With the cars being that close in performance, basic bolt-ons isn't going to make a Mach 1 walk a GTO. A few tenths isn't easily. With a consistent driver, yes, but otherwise, it can be made up for.

    It's really hard to beat the value of a 2V PI GT, they're so cheap and can be in the 12s with bolt-ons.

    The CF is as buttery soft as stock. If I were to replace mine, I'd get another in a heartbeat. I've had two of those clutches, a CF II and a DF. They felt the same, since they have the same PP.

    :lol: erroneous Stock for stock, it's a driver's race. Modded Mach 1 vs stock GTO, I wouldn't go as far to say "easily". If that GTO is modded, it's trouble.

    The worst is that damn cup in the door. My seal leaks right in the center front window at the crease and rain fills that sucker right up. You don't know how mad this makes me when I forget and I put my hand in the cup to pull the door closed.

    You can sometimes find 03/04 piece on Ebay, at least as far as struts and shocks go. I'd prob go with a pro-kit and one of those beefier IRS kits that MM or Steeda sell.

    Stock alarm: are there different modes?

    It seems like when I disconnected the battery the alarm went into a more promiscuous mode. I don't remember it auto-setting when I left the door unlocked and stuff like that. It's really annoying. Is there any way to change this? I didn't see anything in the manual.
