    SLP Exhaust for my 01 Cobra

    I also got the SLP catted x-pipe which you can adjust to accept headers later. I plan on shorties or mid lengths as my car is lowered and I already have barely any clearance with this new exhaust.

    Sounds ok. If that is out the door pricing. Make sure they still give you a decent deal on the trade. I would consider it on a blue or orange one if they would give me a good deal on my 01 and like 29k out the door.

    Those are real nice CC plates. My KB strut bar fits back on fine though, although it goes on the side of the strut tower not over the top of them. My problem is the shop that did the install left the bushing out and the bolts gouged the under side of my hood leaving bolt sized holes in it...

    How much power would heads and cam offer on a NA car? I don't have any mid length headers yet but I do have the KB suspension a lot like yours does. I love mine!! I have an on road SLP x-pipe and slp catback and a Meter forward densencharger I need to install that one though.

    What will happen if I use 87octane

    I would just drive it a while and keep topping it off to keep diluting the 87 octane. Should not be a big issue though. Like above said, stay out of the rpms and since you got an 03 the boost too ;)

    Not sure on the radio off hand but I know my 01 L keeps the windows powered until the doors are opened.

    New SVT Owner

    I always did something like this: 500 easy miles changing speeds alot. Change my oil at 500, 1500, 3000 miles. Wait until 10k miles to go to synthetic if you want that. 500-1000 easy miles. No hard breaking for the first 500 miles.

    I am kind of leaning to the 4.30s myself. The insurance on this car is crazy and the resale went to **** so since I might be stuck with it might as well mod it to be a tire burner.

    I went up to 4.56 gears and came out at like 2960 rpms...maybe someone wanted a **** load of gear in that car.
