    i forgot to ask you if you have a one wire alternator since its a race car.if it is you need to rev the car anywhere from 1400 to 3000 rpm's to kick start it on before it charges the battery.to see of it a one wire it'll only have one wire coming off the back.

    since the battery is in the back make sure you check the cables thoroughly to see if they're frayed or have bare spots hitting against the frame etc.make sure connections are tight.

    Overheats at cruise speed

    when it warms up take the cap off and look in and you should be able to see if the water is moving through the top of radiator. if its not,the thermostat probably is not opening or its not installed correctly.did you put a new radiator cap on it?also i heard that some types of antifreeze eats...

    when you release the shifter does it return always to the same position hence the ratchet and some have a lever also.what the extra lever for?going into reverse or park?is there a button on the shifter for the trans brake or where would it be since reaction is important? thanks !

    tr3650 i finally found a ford dealer that would do the tsb and after getting it back,there was no noticeable difference.before taking it in i changed the fluid to mercon with 3.4 liters and it shifted better than when i got it back from the dealer.my issues were not so much the grind as it felt...

    j&m lca's vs maximum motorsports lca's

    i know that maximums are probably the best but does anybody have either a good or bad experience with j&m?i'm ready to put lca's on but don't know which to buy.its mostly a street car and sees very little track.the j&m's are about a $100.less than maximum motorsports.

    where do you guys get your modified cars insured in mich?i'm finding out the companies won't insure them.i really never thought about it until after a lot of mods.i don't want a claim denied or be out a lot of money if stolen.let me know of some companies that insure our types of cars?

    ac compressor whine

    yes it makes noise only when its off and free wheeling.when its on the noise goes away.what manuals or info did you use to relace the bearings?can you buy the bearings from the dealer?are the compressors made by ford or another supplier and if so,who makes them.i'd like to fix it myself!
