    302 VALVE COVERS FIT 351W???

    Usually, some have been known to double gasket to gain a little height. I ran a set of older rocker covers on my 302 with Twisted Wedge heads for a little to try and determine if a noise was just the rockers hittin my Fox covers...nah, it was a rod bearing LOL. Matt

    new to the 5.0

    I had a freak issue with a Purolator gettin stuck on my 66 and I had to fight to get it off...torch and prybar were included in the tool list that night. With that said, every single vehicle I own used an FL1A and you can get em cheap at WallyWorld...so thats all Ill use from here on out...

    I'M A MESS!

    Dont worry, there are plenty of people on here with stock un-opened shortblocks making amazing power on spray and boost. With a healthy tune itll be fine. Then again, i blew mine up NA but it wasnt from making too much power, sometimes shat happens! Good luck, and let us know what happens! Matt

    Ticking noise that increases with RPM + Running to hot

    Mine did the SAME thing and it ended up bein a WICKED bubble in the system. I had to jack the car up to try and make the heater core the lowest part of the system to try and coax the bubble out. She would erupt like a gyser and then ide fill it back up, erupt, fill back up time and time again...

    knocking engine

    Wont really know till you tear it apart. Funny thing is, i went thru the exact same progression somewhat. Noticed the balancer wobbling a bit, replaced it, motor started knockin, piston broke off rod and engine went BOOM lol. Tear it apart and see! Matt

    Come to think of it, if your lookin for a good tire for a daily/street car, see if you can find a BFG g-force sports. Ive had great success with a couple different sized on my 90 5.0 car, but Im not sure if they come in a 15" size. I had a set of 245s on a 16" rim and now have 275s on a 17"...

    what will it run?

    Yeah, ide say 8.7s-9.0s depending on your 60fts. AODs arent very nice to bolt on or HCI 5.0s it seems, especially if they are tired. Matt
