    Tapping sound under Valve Cover

    Sounds to me like you have a exhaust leak. I'd really suspect this if you have aftermarket headers. Check to make sure your bolts didn't back out of your head(s). You may need a new gasket too.

    I'd go the dyno tuned route. I only say that because they can monitor your a/f with a wideband. I don't know if they can on the street.

    Help w/ missfire

    I'd throw a set of plugs in it if you haven't already done so. Your car is at a good mileage for them anyways. Take a good look at the COP when you have the plugs out. Pull the boot down on it and see if you can see any tiny cracks. If there's any cracks at all, it's bad and needs replaced...

    Before the alignment, I would swap the front tires to see if you have a radial pull. I may save you time and money.

    VERY loud ticking noise coming from engine

    I'd check your header bolts too and make sure they're not backed out. I just had that happen and it was a pretty big exhaust leak.
