    Input on stroker kits.

I would buy a stroker shortblock from MPH with an aluminum block. Actually, that's what I did. That way you know it's as good as it comes and you get a one year warranty. Then, you can sell your shortblock or keep it as a spare.

I have dumped Dynomax Ultraflows and have never noticed a problem.

    MAF!!!

The MAF is a sensor that measures the amount of oxygen entering the intake. The computer uses this information to send the correct amount of fuel to maintain the air/fuel mixture. If you significantly increase the amount of air entering your engine, such as with a supercharger, you will need a...

I noticed something about using different fuels, do you notice the same?

Premature explosion of fuel in the cylinder. It sounds like marbles rattling around in a can. It can cause severe damage to your engine.

I noticed something about using different fuels, do you notice the same?

With my tunes, I run 93 on the street and 116 at the track.

I noticed something about using different fuels, do you notice the same?

Sorry, but you are wrong. There is enough difference that it will affect your 1/4 mile times and dyno numbers. You should run the lowest octane called for by the manufacture unless you are getting detonation or have upped your timing.

I noticed something about using different fuels, do you notice the same?

A stock Mustang GT is designed to run 87 octane. Higher octane fuel is harder to ignite and will actually lose power. If you bump your timing with a timing adjuster or tune, you will need to run higher octane to prevent detonation.

Going to MPH which supercharger do i get?

No, not a all. But it is by far my preference. The KB website is convicing I have done hours and hours of research and i have more info on Kenne Bell than any other supercharger. But looking at this and the MPH forum I get too much conflicting information on on hp/tq numbers. :shrug...

Going to MPH which supercharger do i get?

The KB's are really nice. They look like they are factory installed and you get rid of the crappy plastic intake. They make a boat load of torque and you don't have to worry about tossing belts all the time. So you are saying with all things beings equal the KB is that much better than all...

Going to MPH which supercharger do i get?

It's never done. :nice: I got a new Metco 3.2 inch alternator pulley installed today. I'm trying to get in the MPH schedule to install a flexplate shield, 33 spline axles, and a spool. It never ends.

    Upgrading heads on 04 GT

Who, me? Yea, I think you can do that in a race application and run race gas and make a lot of power. :nice: Probably not the best setup for a street car.

Going to MPH which supercharger do i get?

My numbers are pretty average for MPH. Lots of people seem to be swapping from Vortechs and Paxtons to KB's. I'm sure there will be an occasional 1.7 KB swap to a 2.2 KB, however, it seems like the 1.7's are in big demand. I think a lot of people want to put a 1.7 on a stock engine and...

Going to MPH which supercharger do i get?

You can do that. You just have to hold down the rwhp and tune for it. I don't know where that would put you power wise. You could always add the intercooler later. The other option would be to wait a little longer and save a little more for the intercooled version or keep your eyes open for...

    aftermarket axles

I wouldn't unless I was going to add a power adder or going to run slicks or drag radials at the track. In that case, I would get a set of Moser 31 spline axles and a built differential. Definitely go with 4.10's and get an aluminum drive shaft while you're at it.

    Rebuild

And will make more power with the PI heads.

Going to MPH which supercharger do i get?

My first choice for 400 rwhp would be a 1.7 KB. Second choice would be a Vortech s-trim or sq-trim. If I was going for 500 rwhp or more, first choice would be a 2.2 KB. Second choice would be a Novi 2000. The KB's are really nice. They look like they are factory installed and you get...

    Upgrading heads on 04 GT

No, bad advice. You need to build the engine for the applications. If you already had a built engine, then that would be one thing. If you're building an engine, build it properly. It would be foolish to do otherwise.
