Progress Thread Bench Testing Wiper Motor

That light colored one is actually a very faded light blue. Here is a diagram that might help. I would assume that orange or blue is power to the motor but I will do more research in my books when I get home ton ight.

    Lowered - Front Tires Rubbing

Around 1 to 2.5 degrees positive. With your clearance issue you would probly be better to go to 2.5 pos. This will shift you tire rearwards. Camber would be around 1/2 deg neg

Engine Please Look Over My Plans.

I'm with rbohm and edbert on the carb. a 600 is pretty versatile but I don't think the 750 would necessarily be too much if tuned right and experiment with some rejetting. Are those screw in 3/8 studs? if not I would definitely have the heads tapped for screw in studs.

    Lowered - Front Tires Rubbing

Looks like you need to adjust your caster as well. Do you have a pic of the rear of the tire clearance?

    66 With Heavy Vibration

What Horse says is true. If it is smooth below 2000 then maybe check your motor mounts to make sure one or both aren't bad allowing the engine to bounce around. Back in the 70s I busted a mount doing a high speed 2 gear downshift (I was 17). It vibrated like hell after that till I replaced my...

    Long Time Away, Road Trip

Well being supercharged I would say a fat wallet filled with gas money.:D If you are running a standard coil then I would def bring a spare. I always carry anything I have a spare for such as alternator, starter, fuel pump. Then for sure fuel filters and a little fuel hosing and always plenty...

    Rear Brake/turn Signal Light Dead

Can you be more specific? Both rear brake lights? both turn signals? What do you mean "ordinary taillight works" Do you mean that when you turn the headlight switch on then the rear lights light up? First check your fuses then we will go from there.

First Post..need 68 Brake Expert To Clear Confusion

If I remember from my days working at Midas in the mid 70s, Sounds like you have the 1 3/4 system. I believe you would order by size of the shoe (not the drums actual surface) so you would order the 1 3/4 system but you would actually get a drum with the 2" braking surface. Please somebody...

    Axle Code 2

Just an FYI, to get the right gear ratio by spinning the tires you have to lift both tires off the ground, mark both tires to make sure they end up at the same position and turn them at the same time or double your one wheel rotation but its best to turn both at the same time.

    1966 Mustang Title

I don't think they are useable but I would check maybe with Ohio DMV. I know Ohio is tough on laws regarding vins and swapping them however I have also heard of people getting around those laws and building a basically new car and using the vin as if they were restoring a vintage car. You may...

    Brake Light Issue

Have you recently done any wiring or new harness? Sounds like the blinker switch is completing your ground for you. Maybe start by checking at the brake light (without the blinker engaged) with a multimeter to see if you get power to the light when the brake is depressed. If you do then maybe...

New Member With 65 Mustang With 94-04 Spindles+hubs+ Wilwood

I'm not familiar with this particular conversion but most I've seen need a 17 inch wheel to clear the upper control arm with that kind of backspacing. Not necessarily the caliper itself. but to insure you will clear both, you might consider 17 inchers. Just my opinion but not necessarily the...

    Help!! No Power!

Sounds like maybe the ignition switch could have fried? Check the battery hot lead coming into the ignition switch first to confirm you have power coming in. If you do have power coming in then flip the ignition on and check for power out on each wire coming off the switch. Check all those wires...

    Progress Thread Motor Trans Pairing??

I hope you're not thinking of putting that Chey motor in a classic mustang? Maybe try to find a 390 motor and stroke it out sounds good to me. or stroke that 302 out to a 347?

    1970 Mach 1 Brake Problems

Could also be a gap from the rear shoes and drum. Could be other issues but this is the first thing that comes to mind. Did you pre-adjust your shoes for a slight drag on the drum?
