yea i wouldnt rush into all that if I were you. if you want to keep it streetable, get the KB kit andsee how you like it. once you get used to driving with it and catch 'need more torque syndrome', then you can start considering a forged shortblock and all of that overpriced headwork. baby...
i felt the same way about te mod motors when i first got my GT, but after changing injectors, plenum, intake, MAF, etc... i love the new set-up.. my next mod besides the v-1 is a plasma booster
my 00GT doesnt have traction control. i think they started that in 02 on the GT's but i could be wrong. either way it is an option (button) that you can turn on and off.

yea although the 93's lack the factory forged pistons, as long as your compression is still there and you get a good tune directly after the blower install you should be fine.
