    Same as mine?

    The head on the 95 is a dual plug, meaning it has 2 spark plugs per cylinder. So yeah, pretty much the only thing that is the same is the block itself. Even the pistons are different!

    Mine has done that once of twice in the past. It's so rare that I don't worry about it. Check out the idle controller, I can't remember what it's called (IAC?).

    Smoke? Was it sparking too? Sounds like a short in the alternator, the battery cable, or wiring near the alternator.

    No, there is no limit of a gear, only the limit of how fast the engine will spin. Again, it sounds like there is a major electrical problem. possibly a governor of some kind.

    No dude, your car shouldn't do that. The rev limiter is actually at 6250rpm. It sounds like something is seriously wrong. :shrug:
