    With all that said though, you might just run the stock cam retarted 4 deg (and maybe some 1.7 rockers) untill you put the blower on in the name of saving money and matching your combo as best as you can. the stock cam actualy can do quite well with these sort of performance modifications.

    I am threatening to put a cobra trans T56 into a car that needs a mechanical speedo (67 cougar). From what I can tell to you can pay someone 300 bucks to convert it for you, but I hate paying someone good cash when I can do it myself. Anyone done this? Parts needed and where to get them...

    I am assuiming you are running duraspark, you need to have power to coil at igntion start not just igntion run. Check to see if you have power to the coil when cranking, I bet not.

    It is very vauge on a rather important topic, I just don't think stangnet should be promoting tech articals that leave out the important tools, techniques, etc required to do the job right and not blow up your rearend. Its just not right to the people that don't know any better.

    My HD This is my 1972 Harley Davidson FLH electriglide that has been converted to a FXE Its not fast, its kick start (the electric starter is pretty hit and mis), but she has that wonderfull straight pipe shovelhead Roar. This bike was made before HD died of their own greed!

    04 Cobra 520lb tq , 510hp = stock clutch destruction...need new one what kind is best

    Personaly I am not a fan of the spec clutches, but If you do get a Spec and drive regularly on the street, don't get a stg 3, they are a puck type clutch, and while I do like the on/off feeeling, you will not get many miles on it before it wears out. Get a 3+.
