I Need A New Power Steering Rack!

I ended up ordering the quickest ratio rack from Autozone too, so I'm glad yours is holding up. I also did out tie rods and poly bushings.

I Need A New Power Steering Rack!

As always jrichker, thank you very much for your very helpful and detailed instruction:nice: I'll be going with a parts house rack because well.... I'm poor. I'd imagine that all the part houses rebuilds are all about the same in quality. I'm not looking forward to removing the k-member...

I Need A New Power Steering Rack!

I'm so happy I just found a puddle of fluid on the floor, okay not really. The breather tube popped out with fluid in it so it looks like I need a new rack. I'm looking for recommendations on where to get an affordable remaned power rack that's decent because money is really tight. I also...

17" Pony Wheels At American Muscle!

Yeah, I went with the 9" out back in case I ever want a 275 drag radial. But I can't see how anything wider will fit because the clearance is already tight.

17" Pony Wheels At American Muscle!

I looked at my FR's for a year and I just wasn't big on them from the start. To me, they just didn't go with my car. My exterior, interior, and engine bay are now all clean and "stockish" looking so I feel the wheels go hand in hand with the rest of the car. Sorry, guys.

17" Pony Wheels At American Muscle!

Yeah, but they're perfect if you want a kinda stock-looking car and have SN95 brakes. At around $130, I don't think that's expensive.

17" Pony Wheels At American Muscle!

I'm getting burned out looking at my FR500's and I think 17" Pony wheels would complement the theme of my car very well. I found this new website, http://ponyrparts.com and it appears that the wheels can be made available through group buys. This is something I'm going to look into, I'm...

Does More $$$ Really Get A Better Throttle Body?

Wow, thanks for the great input. I'm now thinking Accufab because I like to support American-made products and no whistle. I also do not have EGR, so the blank spacer should look clean. BTW, my Explorer upper is opened to 70mm and has a ported lower. I just hope the polished doesn't look...

Does More $$$ Really Get A Better Throttle Body?

I'm still running a stock TB and have been wanting t0 pick up a 70mm TB unit. I've been looking around and I see prices from $149 to $269 so it makes me wonder if the extra coin is worth it. I have a stock EGR spacer opened to 70mm so I could go with just a TB by itself. Any opinions would be...
