    Raced my brothers 07 GT

I traded my 02 in on my 05, so as an ower of both, I can offer a little bit of insight here. The 05 isn't that much heavier than the 02 was. This biggest difference is the weight distribution. The 02 is very front heavy compared to the 05. Thats why it is much easier to loose traction...

When Did The Fart Can First Appear?

I heard and saw my first one in 96. I remember it clearly thinking to myself, "What the hell is that? A lawn mower?" After running to my balcony (I lived in an apt at the time) I saw a white honda with this elephant ******* exaust. I remember thinking to myself "I sure hope this isn't a trend."

    New stang?

I traded my 02 GT in for an 05. I don't regret it one bit. Ya, I liked the styling of my 02 better, but its hard to pass up a better engine, a far superior chassis, more comfortable seats and interior, better shifter, and believe it or not, better fuel milage.

So had a little accident today

As with anything, shop around. Personally, I've found Bennett's body shop to be expensive. Some **** spray painted the hood on my 02. Bennett wanted 90 bucks to clean it. I took it to an independant shop who charged me $15 for 5 minutes of using a clay bar on it. I need a new windshield...

    Best Radar out there

Great points, esp #2. My post was directed for highway driving. Speeding successfully is an art that can be learned over time. I have family in the RCMP in MB, who tell me they have spectre RDD (Radar Detector Detectors) in their traffic cars. The RX 65 is a good detector, but it can be...

    Best Radar out there

I bought mine at visions. I got a bel 985 (about 2 years ago now). They gave me the best deal I could get in the city, but I was able to twist their arm quite a bit. I would recommend them. That said, as someone who has been a professional speeder for many many years, I offer you a couple...

    brake problems, vehicle doesnt stop

I agree its most likely the master. How does the pedal feel? Is it really stiff to push down? There is the possibility the ABS is not working. I had that problem on my Pontiac, and it turns out the abs was blocking fluid to the calipars. I had the system de-activated, and it workes fine now.

    Front Grille Emblem

Some lowlife **** stole it off of my 02. I got a new one from the dealer parts counter. I think it cost me 30 bucks. I might have got it cheaper somewhere else, but I just wanted to get it replaced asap.

IT Career guys i need advice

I'll chime in since I am part of the hiring process at a software development company. First off, it really depends on what part of IT you are interested in. I have a degree in computer science and became a programmer. Some people don't like programming, and are more happy doinging networking...

Pretty sure some of you might like this

I am scratching my head a little bit here? How on earth do mufflers add that kind of HP? I suspect the car cooled signifigantly between the first and 2nd pull? Also, his explanation about the gears and the HP? I don't buy that either. Gears don't increase HP; rather they help you get it to...

For All Those Interested in Speeding Ticket PREVENTION, Please Read!

I have to agree with some of what you said. You said driving a signifigantly different speed than the rest of the traffic can cause problems. You're correct, it can. You also state the laws of physics say more energy is envolved in a higher speed colision. You're correct, it. The point I have...

For All Those Interested in Speeding Ticket PREVENTION, Please Read!

Oddly enough, you made my point, exactly. Why would someone pull out in front of me? Because THEY are a bad driver. If drivers were educated properly in lane discipline, and used proper courtesy on the road, they would not pull in front of me, and the speed limit would not need to be low...

For All Those Interested in Speeding Ticket PREVENTION, Please Read!

Perhaps you would like to show me a study that says speeding puts others at risk. Technically speaking, driving 1 mph over a speed that is set not scientifically, but rather by legislators is speeding. By your argument, that is putting others at risk. I don't mean to be picky, but I am...

    Got a ride in a.....

Was it a white one? I saw a white Lambo (although I didn't get a really good look because I was heading the other direction) heading south on Albert Street just north of 23rd ave Saturday. I had my windows down, and it did sound sweet!

    Filling up with gas...

Thats a problem on many of the 05 and 06s. Ford has a tsb for it, that fixes it. I've found though, that it only happens on some pumps. It never bothered me enough to get it fixed, and there is a work around: Turn the pump nozzle 90 degrees to the right. (Some other people who had the problem...

What everyone's projects for the winter?

My plan was to save the money I would normally spend on gas for mods in the spring, but now it looks like Sask-energy is going to be taking that money from me, instead.

    Stupid Windshield Replacement Question...

Consider getting the chip repaired. I had a rock hit mine last week. I got a chip with a Star type cracks about an inch and half across. It cost me 30 bucks and the cracks are completly gone, and all you can see is the tiniest mark, of where the stone impacted. you would not see it, unless you...

    Mobile 1 5W-20

This is starting to get very frustrating. I can't find an esso bulk oil dealer in Regina. (Atleast non are listed in the phonebook or yellow pages). I've called almost every auto parts store there is, and a few sell the 0-20 but nobody wants to stock the 5-20. You would with think that with...
