    There is no wrong or right way to do it. You have to match up your goals of the car along with your budget.     The wishbone is for drag race use only it's not meant as an alternative to a watts linkage or panhard bar set up. It centers the rear end on higher HP cars and keeps the rear end from swaying. Bill

    On slicks I was launching at 6200 with the stock cams, with aftermarket cams I was launching at 6600-6800.

    My Mach 1 did the same thing but only made noise while making right hand turns and it ended up being that the last shop to do the gears in the car shimmed the diff wrong and the shims came loose making even more play. Bill

    Yes I did but in all fairness most people would consider it a drag car. However the basic info in that thread still is valid and I made the point that the more power added the less weight reduction is needed (what usually people consider making a car a drag car).

    The weight of the car is the only thing that deters me from wanting one. A Shelby maybe but otherwise the car is just too bulky for me. The 2011 or 12 might change that with the added power but we shall see. Bill
