    oil in throttle body??

Yeah, that oil lubricating the screws is all BS. The screws don't touch each other at all and are mounted on bearings at each end. Don't buy that. Mine has a Whipple and I see oil in the blower inlet just past the throttle body every time I take the TB off to clean it. I have a Steeda oil...

New Vid: BBR Stage 2 Billet Cams

It's hard to say because of different dyno and conditions. I feel about 25 more HP in the upper rpm range.

06-07 GT Thermostat Housing the Same?

There is a change in '07. '05 and '06 are the same and I don't know why the change, but I suspect it has something to do with the fact that the overflow tanks sometimes overflow out of the top of the '05-'06 cars. I used to just not fill mine quite as high as the fill line to keep that from...

New Vid: BBR Stage 2 Billet Cams

The wheels I bought in late '04 from tirerack.com. I don't think that company sells them anymore. They are 18''x9.5'' Kazera KZA's in Chrome. If you find a real nice close up you'll see they look even better up close. I like the centers the most.

New Vid: BBR Stage 2 Billet Cams

I never heard of them before. Bottom end is stock, tranny is stock and it has McLeod release brg, DFX clutch package. The grille is from Shelby Autos and I fabbed up the trim rings from 1/8'' aluminum to make the lights look larger. They are bolted on with flush mounted countersink allen bolts.

Thanks. I had a GT500 style spoiler, but switched to the CDC ducktail. Still have to sell the other one.

    Short Throw

I had the Steeda Triax in my car for about a year. I hated it. Hitting 3rd gear was a chore and the shifter buzzed just to name 2 of the problems. I switched to the MGW and never looked back. It took me several months to let my guard down and just trust the new shifter. That's how screwed up the...

    Short Throw

MGW is the smoothest shifter out there, hands down. Anything you get from them is made of top shelf materials. Anything they sell in chrome is triple chrome plated. All bolts and hardware is either stainless steel, billet, and anodized. Their shifter is the only one available that strays away...

    GAINS FROM THE SHAKER?

I read on the forums a few years ago where a guy dynoed his car before and after the shaker install. 3-4 hp was all it was worth.

    Oil additives

No, I don't remember which forum it was on, but there was technical data from Ford's in house testing which clearly showed how the 5-20 was just barely acceptable. In discussions I've had with several of the top modular engine builders they always shy away from 5-20. I was having some valvetrain...

    Oil additives

Agreed. A guy on another forum showed some test results where 5/20 barely gets the job done even full synthetic. Just kind of thin. Running 10/30 has been done on 3-valves without anybody reporting any problems with VCT system lag. I know I was running it before I locked out the VCT and had no...

    Door handle

No, can't you read? It was a warranty situation and I'd rather not have left my car with them and they agreed to let me do the work and still get the part at no cost. Normally a dealer wouldn't do this, but I'm sure Ford paid them for the labor too, so it was to their advantage and I didn't have...

    Door handle

When my door handle wouldn't stay flush I had to replace the handle. There's a spring that is molded right into the handle's plastic that broke through the plastic. My Ford dealer had a new handle painted and gave it to me. I told them I'd rather do the work and they agreed to do it that way.

Blown last week...4.10 going on tomorrow...

I was running 4.10's with a Procharger at 11 lbs on my '05 and that was the right gear IMO. I had traction trouble in cooler weather, but it was perfect in the summer.

Prothane Motor Mounts - Taller or Shorter than stock?

Glad to hear that. I have longtubes with the prothanes and not even close to hitting.

Prothane Motor Mounts - Taller or Shorter than stock?

My engine was absolutely raised 1/4'' with the Prothanes. You can cut the 1/4'' off of the Prothanes without a doubt to make it the same height as stock...did it already.
