    what is the best gears for rear w/t-5 trans

    With 3.73's and a TKO I'm running 1,800rpm's at 55mph. My old 331 car with a TKO with 4.56's would run about 2,500rpms at 55mph.

    New engine problems

    Just the fact that you had the engine in a stick car before and now in an auto car could be the reason you say it is bogging. An auto car is not going to have that snap of a stick car unless it's properly set up. Most AOD's are really sluggish unless you pick up a lentech, PA, Dynamic..etc...

    You might want to check your fuel pressure and maybe take a few pounds of pressure off of it and see if it helps your rich problem some also.

    Autolite #25 is the stock heat range for E7 heads. Only if you are running forced induction or a power adder would I change the heat range to a colder plug. A higher number plug is hotter and a lower number plug is colder.

    That's how I did these. Was it real humid when you painted them? Sometimes humidity will affect how paint adheres. I know I have seen paint do some weird things when it's hot and humid outside. Luckily we have a paint booth at one of our shops that I can use for future paint projects.
