Anyone have a T5 yoke kicking around?

I was wondering if any of you guys might have a T5 yoke available. I'm in the middle of my T5 swap and realized I was missing the yoke.

Missing instrument panel lights (Lo Coolant and Lo Oil)

Ya, I think you're right. I just finished converting all the idiot light bulbs from regular incandescent bulbs to ultra bright white and blue leds using some leds, 510 ohm resistors and copper lined pcb I had laying around. It looks pretty good. I wanted to do the backlighting with the leds...

Missing instrument panel lights (Lo Coolant and Lo Oil)

So I took my whole dash apart and out of the car to find a water leak and decided to take a look at the back of the instrument panel. Mine is missing lights in the "Lo Oil" and "Lo Cool" spots. Are those supposed to be missing? Are they just dummy holes? Did some moron leave them out in the...

Custom subwoofer box (work in progress)

Well, I'm almost done with the sub box. All I need to do is get my amp installed, make up some custom side paneling, make access holes for the radio and cd changer and screw the sub box in to the upper rear seat rail. Here's some current pics... In other news, my black...

Ha. I was going by the directions on your site (on my server) and didn't notice that part  As I'll be yanking the dash to try to fix a water leak I'll look for them then. Thanks.

A few minor issues i want to fix

If it's definitely leaking from the valve cover gasket, you may want to pull the valve cover and make sure it's not warped by taking a straightedge to it. Also, clean up the gasket mating surfaces with carb cleaner or some mild degreaser. I'd then make sure you're torquing the bolts down...

PIP Circuit Fault - Need Help

To test the crankshaft position sensor the chiltons says to use a digital volt meter set to a proper scale to read 5v AC and probe across the Cylinder identification terminal (should be dark blue/orange and connects to the engine computer at pin 5 and the ignition control module at pin 2) and...

Custom subwoofer box (work in progress)

Thanks. The 6 disc cd changer will be going on the hinged door on the other side. I'll be carpeting that deck piece and also the area underneath (it's pretty nasty due to ATF from the convertible top cylinders leaking at one time before I got the car). I'll be putting the two amps in the...

A few minor issues i want to fix

The pcv valve should be a straight piece with a fat end on the bottom (about 5/8 of an inch) and a skinny end at the top (about 3/8 of an inch). Sometimes the parts store pcv valves will come with a 90 degree rubber/plastic piece coming off the top. This piece can be pulled off and discarded...

A few minor issues i want to fix

If you're using the rubber felpro valve cover gasket then I wouldn't put any silicone on it. Silicone tends to make rubber gaskets slip all over the place. Scrape off any silicone that's on the head and cover, degrease the mating surfaces and put the rubber gasket on dry. If you haven't, I...

For anyone who's interested...here's some more pics of the sub box Test fit: Another shot: The sub box is carpeted: I extended all the stereo wiring to reach the new radio location today in addition to sealing the inner compartments of the box.

    diag codes

Cup your hand over the exhaust and it should push your hand off so the gases can escape. If it doesn't push your hand off then the exhaust gases are probably escaping somewhere else. If your knock sensor is plugged in and functioning it will pull the timing when it detects a knock. I'm not...

    diag codes

If the check engine code shows the computer is seeing the o2 as reading rich but you're showing signs of the engine running lean then it's possible the o2 could be toast and is reading rich no matter what. A knocking sound could possibly be the engine knocking (detonating) which can happen when...

    Quick Question

Whether it's the ACT (air charge temp) sensor or the knock sensor, the car WILL run without it. The knock sensor protects the engine from predetonating (knocking/pinging) so it could possibly save your pistons if something major were to give out causing the engine to knock. Leaving the ACT...

    Elec problems...experts help needed

First thing I would suggest is pulling out the taillight/parking light fuse. If the lights go out, that means the headlight switch is toast and is staying on all the time. If the lights stay on then that means they're most likely getting fed through the brakelight switch, hazard switch, or the...
