    Have you checked with local parts stores? Sometimes they'll sell the trans cooler line assemblies. Is the rest of the line in good shape? You could just cut out the bad part and throw in a new section of line with compression fittings.

    I believe the turn signal switch on the steering column also has the headlight wiring running through it (according to my chiltons wiring diagram for 89-93). I'd make sure all your harnesses are plugged in securely on the steering column and make sure none of the wires have popped out the back...
