    Camshaft is smaller as well. That is what actually caused the -5 hp decrease in 88+. Stupid hippies with their stupid emission standards. Stupid stupid.

    Did you use the cork gaskets in the front/back of the lower intake where it seals with the block? Those are terrible. I just put my intake back on last night, too. I didn't even try to use those junk cork gaskets. Just built up a good bead of silicone gasket-maker. Hope it seals...

    Belt route

    that link was supposed to be the belt route for a 5.0 explorer. The only difference between it and what you explained was the order of the crank and water pump. The link shows (starting at the alternator) the crank pulley first and then the water pump. Seems to me I might remember the belt...
