If you get one of these rag joints, could you please measure the diameter of the joint itself and the spacing of the holes and post the results here?

65 Styled Steel Wheels On Granada Disc Setup

The Granada rotors can be taken to a machine shop and the outer diameter of the hubs can be reduced by aout 1/8". This will allow them to fit standard stock steel wheels.

    Horn gives weak, short noise?

The horn in my Cougar was weak and inconsistent. I added a relay to the circuit that directs full battery current to the horns. Now they work every time and are sufficiently loud.

I found the ultimate junkyard seats

They look pretty much like the Fox Recaros. I had a 79 Pace Car Replica and bought a pair of Recaros from an 80 Cobra then had them upholstered to match my 69 Cougar. At the time early Mustang mounting brackets were available for the Recaros which made installation extremely easy.

Flaming River PS Control Valve Adjustment

LOL You probably would have been better off rebuilding your original control valve. My issues, and those of others, with FR have been well-documented elsewhere.

Grenadas... how to tell what year?

I always tell 'em 1978 Granada. They are the same 1975-80.

    Destroyed Power Steering Pulley

All the Ford power steering pulleys I have seen were pressed on, and they all had the hex-shaped hole in the pulley shaft. A convenience for machining or removing/installing some of the internal parts when rebuilding? I have never seen a threaded-on Ford power steering pulley.

    what to buy??? 2 options...

...or better driving skills. You should see all the bent rails, skid marks and stains on Angeles Forest/Angeles Crest, and some of the dumb stuff people do up there every day. PS I vote for the brake upgrade and a lighter throttle foot.

    68 steering issues

That is not a point of adjustment, that is a grease fitting. The adjustment is under the cap at the other end of the control valve in the picture, under the silver-colored cap. This is visible below the structural member behind the left front wheel. Here is how to do the adjustment: Take...

1970 Rack & Pinion Fitment help!

I had major clearance issues with two different FR racks I attempted to install in my 69 Cougar with a 351W/FMX. The big problem was that there was no way to connect the steering gear to the column without boring a big hole in the outlet flange of the driver side exhaust manifold...

Questions about Granada swap on a '68.

65ShelbyClone, I found the same problem finding parts I needed in the Antelope Valley since I moved there a year or so ago. Got spoiled living "Down Below". There are a couple of "old-school" looking parts stores on Palmdale Bl. but I haven't been to them yet, just a couple of chain...

Questions about Granada swap on a '68.

When I did the Granada conversion on my 69 Cougar I needed some adapter bushings to connect the hhard lines to the rubber lines. They were probably a uck apiece. Any good parts store with a Dorman fitting cabinet ought to have these fittings.

    Front End Suspension Nightmare

Mine were worse than that. Marlon can fix that, for a reasonable price. Plus, he's not too far away from you.

    Front End Suspension Nightmare

The strut mounts on my 69 Cougar were bent when I got the car. Every time I got the car aligned for a few years I was told about it, but they were able to adjust around the problem. Finally I had Marlon at Marlo's in Chatsworth fix it. He heated, bent and re-welded the brackets so they are...

    Grant Wheel install

With the latest Grant wheel in my Cougar, the horn was iffy and worked intermittently. I rewired the circuit with a relay to switch direct battery power to the horn and it works every time now.
