    Thanks man! I actually have CompCams or Crane Cams (can't remember off the top of my head) lifters in there now. I think I'll order some Ford ones from Summit, only $104 so it might be worth a shot.

    No they are hydraulic rollers, and I've set the rockers many times now and still not effecting the noise. Anyone know how to tell if the lifters are bad once they are already out of the car? Thanks!

    Well I do have access to those things, but I really do not want to pull this out again, especailly the Tremec TKO transmission! No, my Autometer gauge is mechanical, so it has a direct line to the motor, so I know it is reading correctly.
