    Its def. 39 psi with the line pulled normally....but if its running pig rich and doesnt want to idle in gear lowering the fuel pressure a little can help drivability issues till you get it tuned.

    To run the Mark fan you need a good PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) controller. Even better is one with a soft start feature so it doesn't pull near 100 amps on start.

    37-39 is where the fuel pressure should be at. But if you recently added bigger injectors and its running abit rich then 27 might be what it likes till you get a tune. 13-14 degrees timing is usually fine. Totally safe is like 10.

    I'm using a high flow catted MAC x pipe. Its catted because the car doesnt stink now and i wanted it a little quieter. The C&R works perfectly. Looks like good build quality and ive been running it the past few years no problems.

    I just remembered.... On my Accufab TB i had an issue where the something was interfering with the proper operation of the IAC. I ended up having to double gasket the IAC as a solution....It may have been the IAC screw protruding into the TB and touching the TB door. Just some ideas.

    If it holds that high idle and wont go down unless you turn the car off....then yes. This wouldn't be surging (up and down idling) In the good old days i delivered pizza in a car with a built HCI 306.....I would be at a redlight and the idle would climb high enough for me to do a burnout....lol

    The change here is how much air enters the engine. Popping is usually a sign of improper air/fuel (too much air) that the computer isn't seeing. You could try disconnecting the battery for a lil bit to see if the computer re-learns. What kind of MAF? Does your MAF some kind of compensation...

    Does this car have a chip? I have a cam with a 900 RPM idle so thats what what was programmed into the chip. Then i removed the spout and unplugged the IAC and set it to that idle. The spout shouldn't really cause idle fluctuation though even if its plugged in.

    Maybe a vacuum leak or something unplugged accidentally during the install? Ive heard of some throttle bodies whistling. Maybe there is an air leak in the hinge the shaft that holds the throttle plate.

    Well if it starts making unusually high power when youre dont then it may be a stroker. The guy may have sold the aftermarket heads and put the E7's back on before selling. Never know.

    I've done both. X pipe is supposed to help scavenging and be the better of the 2. But the H pipe will give you a more muscle sound. I like my X pipe.... H is also a bit louder.

    Yeah i ended up using the variable controller with the Lincoln Mark fan. At full speed the lincoln fan pulls over 4000cfm. Its easier on the fan because rather than kicking the fan on and off it slows the fan and speeds it up as needed.
