Well I know that, but these are the kind of things that I wouldn't have unless I planned on using them. Lotta money tied up. Is your dad's name "Vic"?

Try a little powdered graphite during cold weather. Nothing to gum up and it lubes pretty well.

    Puttin' her away

3 days a week is almost like daily driving it. You should do nothing, unless the tank will last longer than 3 months. Then you need fuel stabilizer.

    broken bolt help

I'm not sure I agree. The head is the weakest link. The main body of the bolt is the strength. It's not going to twist inside itself. That would be like the EZ out is counter drilling a hole all the way down with only the threads, the new weakest link holding it back. It just isn't sound physics.

    POR-15 failure...

It is used to clean bricks after laying so they are pretty, and also to etch concrete so that it can be resurfaced. It is alsoo used in swimming pool water chemistry. Anybody know why? Never seen it used on metal, but it would probably eat just about anything. Heck so does coca-cola.

Well, it may have been a slight exaggeration from Max. Depending on the length of storage, the carb may go dry and in that case, a rebuild may be required anyway. Depending on what carb he or you have, you may have to pull off the top as in my 2100. There is a small vent, but I don't think the...

    broken bolt help

I use only Craftsman stuff. That way, if it ever breaks, which it never has for me, it is a free replacement. The EZ out isn't a miracle worker. It may need some help in the form of thread lube or maybe even heat, but I have never failed to get something out that I wanted out with em. In his...

Whats the dumbest mod youve seen someone do to their car?

Not really a mod, although if you needed a behind the seat cargo organizer, you could do what I saw a guy do. Seat broke, so he put 2 milk crates behind the seat to support it and then used the space for his carpenter tools. I don't recommend this. Saw in the back of the head on a quick stop. :D...

HM, what kind of prep work was done before the application? Considering you came from New Mexico, 0 humidity, that is alarming.
