    Buying a mustang

I am selling 2 of my current vehicles to get the new 05 Mustang. I've been GM loyal for 25 years and the 2 vehicles I am selling are GM. From day one of the concept (I have not seen it live yet :( ) and now production...I want one bad. I am hoping they will offer the convertible with the v8 in a...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

 "Ugliest"....come on now! I have one, I love it. In fact Yellow SS without silver at the bottom. Actually it's my wife's car, but I love it. For a V6 it sure hauls a$$. Better that my old 75 that I used to have which had a 350. I wish it would have come with the SC in the year she bought...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

You know...for a site that has a lot of "heated discussions" there are a lot of very smart people here. I enjoy reading stuff like what Nicks99GT said and often if you just think about comments, it makes sense as to why it was said. Camaro and Firebird gone out of the picture is good for Ford...

    Love the new design but..........

After my last post I went to bed and I was thinking about it more. This is exactly the problem. It is hard to distinguish one car from another at a quick glance or at a distance. So many look the same because they have the shame exact shape. Unlike the cars of the past, there was no way you make...

    Love the new design but..........

IMO rounded cars lack style, like they did in the pre 80. I happy to see style coming out of these cars again. I wouldn't go as far as saying the Corvette is ugly though but it doesn't float my boat. The Cobra concept is very rounded, It's very much like the 60's one but again...not a fan. I...

05 GT to start at $25K?

I like this line "Now that GM's Camaro and Firebird muscle cars have been retired, Mustang can roll up rich profits all by itself." :owned:

Maybe cheaper than the current GTO but never cheaper than the Mustang (off topic question...why are words underlined with links attached?)

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

Lower buck??? I doubt it, GM IMO has become the greediest of them all and nothing that comes out of GM is lower buck. I think the Mustang will always out price anything in it's competition (and I am a GM loyal) Ford is king where the pony car is concerned and likely always will be.

sub $20k V8 rumor strikes again

None taken...GM lover here, soon to be X-GM lover if nothing is changes very soon. I am fed up with rediculous prices, nothing out there I can afford that excites me at all. I don't like the new vette..I like the SSR but totally hate the price tag and therefore don't want it. Silverado SS...what...

sub $20k V8 rumor strikes again

Little profits in the high number of sales equal big $$$ profits. That's why I have yet to understand the logic GM is doing with things like the SSR. Low volume, rediculous msrp, only a fool would pay that kind of money for that vehicle IMO. I don't think it's worth it at all. Mustang is dear to...

    Problem with new mustang

Many imigrants here in Canada do that...whole families living under 1 roof. They are smart in doing it that way. I personally know some Asians and Indians (as from India) doing that. They all have jobs that most people wouldn't want, janitorial jobs. Super nice people woth major family values...

    Problem with new mustang

I guess so...I can't get over why everyone is arguing over something is so obvious. Maybe they either chose to forget the true difference because I remember my parents could easily support the family with just my dad working. Now-a-days, it's almost impossible unless both parents work. A single...

    Problem with new mustang

The Aveo I saw in the show room must have had all the options because it was $17k something. I was shocked and told my wife "are they kidding, $17k for this POS..." Again...I stress these are Canadian prices. Before you dispute these things you should beyond your border, but still in North America.

    Problem with new mustang

Average wages have not increased at the same rate. In 1979 I was making $4.80/hour (which was considered average) at my fulltime job and I could have bought a brand new base Mustang for $6800. Today, I know many people who make about $6.00/hour (and that is higher than the minimum wages of $5.80...

    Problem with new mustang

I agree...110% prices have gone insane...especially in Canada. Using an example only here with the new chevy SSR. In the US that vehicle is about $43k MSRP here in Canada $70k Now I know our our dollar is worth less than USD but not that much. At todays exchange rate of .75 that comes to about...

    No covertible until next February?

That's what makes this so great...if we all liked it, then there would be no variety in the world. I like it and as I mentioned earlier, it's a vert or nothing at all. I rented a 96 vert for my honeymoon and loved it and I think the 05 will be the best one yet since the 60's. Worth the wait IMO.
