    I didnt even think of that DOH!!! Your right, the pan dips in front which is where the pump is. Ill see if the pressure stays put with the fresh change. If so then its more than likely just getting low due to the leak. Gotta love project cars! I run a 10W30 in it now. Could a 10W40 help...

    The engine has 113,xxx miles on it. The oil level was a bit low, but it has a tendency to get that way with the oil pan gasket leak. It was about time for an oil change so I went ahead and did it. Ill see what happens now with it.

    I checked the TV linkage last night, and it had come undone for some reason. I plugged it back in and its a bit loose in the grommet but the car shifts like it should now. Im going to try and tighten it up some more over the weekend.

    I reconnected all the TV linkage, and all. I had to go to ford for a new one of those gromments since mine crumbled taking it apart. I know I reconnected it, could it need adjusting? If for some reason it was the TV linkage would that nuke my tranny and be cause for a rebuild or a new one...
