    If it's air tight you will get a vacuume not a big one but a lil one. if you look at the stock one there is a small vent hole right under the rim on the top.

    has anyone modified or removed their heater tubes?

    I cut the metal tubes off of mine and just left enough tube so I could get some hose on there and clamp it on. I will try to take a pic later. Has worked well so far.

    Look into a lc-1 wide band sensor. I should have one here in a few days and i will post when I get it all hooked up. They are $200 each. you can swap it back and forth between the both sides for tuning.

    Why do you have a new drum and shell on your list? A good brand rebuilt kit should come with everything like bushings, clutches, seal, steels, etc. Just do the shift kit on the tccoa.com web site. You don't want to run race/kevelar bands on a non race aode.
