    I am looking for a pair of 15 by 8 rims.. (hopefully cheap rims) just 2 for the back two tires, with some sort of dot slicks or drag radials... I am looking to break into the 13's and the tires are necessary for me to get there...I do not want to spend a lot of money (have been searching ebay)...

    thanks for the quick reply's guys. The cooper cobra's are some cheap wanna be performance tires i got at action gator tire. They are not very big, because using a 14 by 6 tire limits the size greatly. I have looked into getting some new rims and adding some kind of dot slick or street drag...

    thats the problem with living in florida during the summer, because it rains everyday in the afternoon, granted it doesnt rain long, but its enough to make the track slick and to dangerous to race on :(

    launch at a more higher rpm and shift at higher rpm...for your combo, 5500 sounds really low to shift at, 6000 sounds better...i would have liked to see the numbers on that last run if you didnt miss 3rd....i belive the car is low 13's/12's..you just need to really get it dialed in..good luck...

    yo, chill out man..no need to get all worked up, people are just trying to help. Just because the waterpump is brand new doesnt mean is works. I have had ones out of the box that didnt work. Doesnt hurt to check the simple little things in which in turn be the source of the problem.

    yes, i beleive the entire car is in a wrap. They did the project super nova on horsepower tv and did the whole car in a wrap and it looked amazing...i dont know, it might be worth it to try something new..i say go for it :rolleyes:

    220 at 65-70 mph is hot...at speed is when your radiator should be the coolest...just think if you got into some traffic, that 220 would then turn into 240 and your car would overheat casuing major problems...get a shroud, maybe in electric fan ect. and if all else fails, it might be time for a...
