    Fellow Vert Owners...Help....

I have the Mach 1000 system (not junk imo) and I can feel the base and hear everything perfectly with the top down. You could try finding the stock Mach 1000 sub boxes.

    MAGNAFLOW cat back installed!

Have the shop take care of it since you paid for them to do it right. I installed mine myself and had to adjust them a couple times to get them right and keep the clearances just right. Magnaflow rocks :nice:

    hp gains with catback?

Ditto...sounds great but not much noticed on the butt dyno. U won't notice any gains until the cats are removed for a catless x or h pipe

    are GT's worth it?

With the release of the 05's you should be able to get a newer GT pretty cheap. I know 04's have a nice rebate plus dealers and discounting them pretty deep to get them off the lot. You'd do even better going for an 02-03 seeing as the depreciation has already happened. Good luck...and yes I'd...

Simco Lunar Instrument Cluster (99-04 GT)

For well over $300 a pop it's no wonder sales are minimum for Autometer. I like the look of Simco's gauges and the price is a little more tolerable than Autometer.

Right-Rear Rattle - Help me identify what is rattling!!!

Mine does it as well on my 03 vert.It only does it on colder days though. My Magnaflow system is tight and clearances are good.Just one of those things I guess.I turn the Mach 1000 up to drown it out, lol!

    Another catback question...

In my opinion I'd say yes,it's more beneficial for the Catback. The factory pipes are compression bent and more restrictive leading into the mufflers. With a catback you'll have a true 2.5" diameter all the way back. There's nothing wrong with welding some mufflers in place if all you're looking...

    Another catback question...

I love the Magnaflow Cats...I have this system with the magnapacks,it sounds mean as hell. The rumble is awesome and gets lots of attention. Being as it's stainless steel doesn't hurt either. Great choice imo :nice:

    weird squeek

People with Convertible and Cat backhelp

The whole Magnaflow system I have is stainless steel. Not sure of the size Magnapacks. I have the 3.5" tips as well which just sets off the look in the the rear.

People with Convertible and Cat backhelp

I have an 03 vert with the Magnaflow cat w/magnapacks. The drone isn't as bad as the flowmaster or macs. I love the sound but to each his own. The Magnapacks are a straight thru type of resonator. They sound and perform sweet! For the money I say ya can't go wrong.

I'm combing Ebay as we speak looking for a winter ride! I can't imagine my girls black paint getting all chipped up by the salt and other crap they put on the roads here.
