    My car is a 96 GT w/ the ZR Crystal White paint. I bought a cobra front bumper and am planning to install within the next month. The car has the original paint and I was wondering what the odds of the new paint matching? The car still shines up fairly nice, and painting the entire car...

    Yeah, but it does it either with or without applying the brakes. I also looked at the pads and they seemed to be fine. Dunno.....:shrug: I'll keep at it..... Thanks for all the input gang.

    Doubtful. I checked'em and they looked and felt fine. Dunno. It's just wierd that it gets louder turning to the left, but doesn't turning to the right............lol

    Hammer...:shrug: Nah, not really. I'm waiting on a 1 3/8" socket right now. I got the nut off w/ a wrench, but need the socket to torque it back down. Teh wifey is out and is gonna pick one up on the way home. Other than that, it has been a breeze so far. Not sure if that is the problem...

    Is there anything that will visually tell me the hub is fried once I have it off, or is there anything I should check for while I'm there? I'm tearing it down tomorrow night.

    If it was a rear bearing, wouldn't it do it all of the time and get louder w/ more speed? Had the rears changed two years ago though. You notice this one the most under 30 mph. Over that and i can't hear it as much...

    daily driver thread.

    96 GT. 120k, 5spd(TKO 500), 2.73's..... Livernois intake kit, CAI, Flows (40's) cat-back and JMS tune. 26 mpg...... Think I got a front hub going bad, but it has been a good ride thus far.

    Removed quad shocks, have wheel hop, what to do

    Mine wheel hopped like a mother and I've never had quads on it. Got to checking around and the UCA's were trashed. Replaced them and have no more issues (on street tires- haven't launched my DR's yet)
