    Running 85 octane on an 11:1 compression engine is asking for trouble. The minimum recommended octane in the owners manual is 87.

    There is a huge difference when you need products with abrasive cut in them to improve the finish on older (especially black cars). Like anything else, you get what you pay for and some are much easier to apply / remove in different temperatures etc.

    Several of the manual transmissions have problems with the clutch sticking to the floor on high RPM shifts. A TSB is out for that issue though.

    I always stick with the OEM LSD after my gear swaps. Unless it's gonna see strip duty every weekend or something. There are plenty of N20 and supercharged beasts running on OEM LSDs.

    To pick up a few more HP/TQ across the entire RPM range and improve over the crimped POS stock mid-pipe. Exhaust note improvement. The same reasons people have been swapping them out for years. :shrug:

    Insurance is gonna own you on a 2011 5.0 since you are 17. You could get a wicked fox body or nice SN-95 Cobra for ~$10K. Good luck.
