    Cold Air Worthless?

    I liked my FIPK-2 when I had it. It netted some nice gains, but when I got my 80mm MAF and 70mm TB I decided to turn to the trueflow inlet by C&L. I like it a lot and it looks REALLY good under the hood. that combo netted me some nice gains. Mike

    mine did the same thing but leveled out after about a week. your springs mayneed to settle. just give it about a week of driving and see how it goes. My drop with the super sports ended up being 2 in the front and 1.75 in the rear.. much lower than i wanted to go.. but looked good. Mike

    I got an inline converter, used a quick splice and did EXACTLY what the article suggested.. ran that to the amp input and then the speakers to the output... worked fine. Mike

    If you want to use the stock head unit, an inline converter will work fine. Itwould also work with an aftermarkt..but wouldnt sound as good. Lemme get scott to post up about it.. he is more knowledgeable than i on this matter. Mike

    Yup.. RTV/Silicone..thats what i used. as for breaking the alt pulley. i didn't have air tools. I hooked up a breaker bar and put about a 6 ft piece of PVC pipe on it and yanked the crap out of it. Mike

    I used just gasket maker on mine. Thats what it suggested I do believe. And as for everything else mentioned. Those of you who are thinking about them... GET THEM.. they make a great difference for the money, I have two 10's bridged on a 750 amp at full power... and I notice no dimming, no...

    Well here's my two cents. I just put on my setup 3 weeks ago and I LOVE it. I went with the H&R SuperSports and Bilstein Shocks/Struts. I love the ride and I love the handling. And the look of course.. hehe.. The install wasn't bad. Of course I had a lift and just dropped the rear axle...
