    Top Speed with Tunes

That was a good thing to add to this thread Jenn (even if you do drive a T/A now!). Based on the original posting of that notice, I reinstall the stock tune each time I take the car to the dealer and always verify the cal strategy before reflashing with the 93 octane tune.

My car is fast. And that is nice.

I bought a new daily driver back in June, and because I had put 20,000 on the Mustang since taking delivery in August 2006, I decided to let her sit for awhile. That and left rotator cuff / AC joint surgery 7 weeks ago made driving anything with gears nearly impossible. Well, I pulled her out...

    Great Mustang Commerical

I'm not going to get into that discussion. With two tours over there and having made some close friends who are Iraqi, I have some very strong opinions.

Best way to avoid is to reflash to stock before taking the car into the dealer for service....

    Great Mustang Commerical

I remember watching that commercial when it debuted during the 2005 Super Bowl. I was a month away from heading back to Iraq for my second tour when I saw it. As an old Marine I still get misty eyed every time that I see it. I've had three people send it to me in the last couple months.

CAI and tune, gains really from the tune?

Man, this thread is makin' my brain hurt almost as much as a reality TV show!

Gremilin can wax a '05 Mustang GT?

The real question is would you be caught, dead or otherwise, in something that ugly?

Who gets flashed when FOG LIGHTS are on?

It seems to run in cycles with me. I can go for weeks w/o getting flashed for having my fogs & lows on, and then it seems like I'll go through a period where everyone will flash me.

Would you buy a breadvan style estate?

Q: Would you buy a breadvan style estate? A: No, not in a million years.

    Just bought a new mustang!

Nice ride. I see what you mean about the 08 fanblade wheels. They look good on your car. It's too bad that Ted Britt found it necessary to put a dealer badge and a license frame on your car!

CAI and tune, gains really from the tune?

I installed a brenspeed tune w/o changing to a CAI. Performance and drivability changes were huge, especially when using the 93 octane tune.

    New paint

It probably has much to do with the type of paint and whether it was baked on. The safest thing would be to ask the shop where the work was done.

    08 GT Mustang

I went to the bowenscarff.com website and found the same price as well. Not sure why they raised the price that much.

    Advice needed

I went through the same thing as well with a 96 Cobra Convertible. Once I drove a new Mustang though I was hooked. Although I do miss the exclusivity of owning a Cobra from time to time, I do love my 2007 GT. And I must say it draws just as much in the way of attention and compliments as the...

I ordered my 07 GT Conv last July and paid invoice for it.

    Instrument cluster question?

I ordered the IUP to get the "extra" gauges. You know, the ones that should be standard equipment in "America's only pony car." Not to sound negative, but I think it's a total ripoff that we should have to pay extra for these gauges. They were standard equipment in my 1995 Mustang GT.

    Shelby GT: reserve not met

The blue oval stealers did the same thing with the T-bird when it first came out. Apparently they didn't learn anything from their recent experiences with the release of that car.

Prospective owner asks: V6 or V8?

My commute is the same as yours and I'm logging 21-22 mpg in my 07 GT (it beats the the heck out of the 17 mpg that I get in my V-6 Blazer on the same commute). I'm also logging 25-26 on the open highway usually running at about 8 mph over the limit. In the limited amount of city driving that...
