    Get new heads, aluminum or cast iron. Don't mess w/ the stockers, you'll prolly end up money behind. The heads is where you're going to get the real power. For the money you'd spend on those rockers alone, you'd be well on your way to a good set of cast iron heads.

    Mine looks off center as well, that's before and after entirely new rear suspension, everything has been replaced.

    I had a 4.9 that did the same thing, it was a broken piston skirt. Could be various things though. Need to tear it down prolly.

    I think it's just because people are tired of Flowmasters on Mustangs. In my book they still sound the best, classic 5.0 sound. They'll flow plenty for what HP most of us on here are pushing. If they do flow bad (which I extremely doubt) most of us need the back pressure. Alot of peple on here...

    I've had the Paxton on for a couple days now. I think I'm going to pull a Grn92LX and sell mine too. Not building any conciderable boost till after 5,000 RPM's is rediculous. Hell the motor is done by that time and I need to shift. What a waste of time and money. :bang:

    I highly suggest getting a cap/rotor with brass contacts, not the silver colored ones, I run Accel cap/rotor. I have had good results with motorcraft (42C) and autolite (25) (running 23's now w/ the s/c'r) spark plugs. A good quality set of plugs wires is a smart idea. I was amazed at the...

    I ended up putting the a/c compressor back on and used the stock (w/AC) belt. Works like a charm. I'll get an a/c delete pulley later. Thanks everyone, it was alot of work. Now if I could get it to stop pinging under boost. Roads are damp so it just lights up the tires in any gear right now.
