    H/C/I suggestions for 94 cobra

Because with nitrous you pick up an asston of tq. You also won't see all 125 to the rear wheels obviously. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with those #s.

    superchargers for sn95

I believe they are all quiet now, but you can call vortech and possibly get a special order or ask their opinion. That's what I did.

    superchargers for sn95

I purchased a tuner kit for the same reasons of not using some garbage FMU and a retard box. However it makes it as easy as possible for the DIY guy not looking to end the world power wise.

    superchargers for sn95

As far as heat levels go, anything under 14psi should be just fine on a smaller size blower. They all will produce heat and are hot to touch after a good pass which can lead to heat soaking the intake. Run a phenolic spacer if it worries you. However even with the condition of my bottom end; the...

    superchargers for sn95

Hey, Yeah I chose the v1-s trim for a few reasons. Cost was a factor as it's fairly cheap as an entry level supercharger vs. some of the larger units. Ease of installation wasn't a huge thing, but a vortech is extremely straightforward esp if you choose to run a v3 which is a sealed unit...

    1995 GT sitting funny

If you have had a strut go bad from sitting so long it'll sag aswell; although its most important that the car is on a level surface. Hopefully all that water isn't causing your driveway to cave in spots; erode etc.

PCV setup with a supercharger (just come on in)

Matt, I run my PCV system as illustrated in #3 with a vented catch can. So far it has been working excellent vs. that setup with no catch can which was wetting my MAF with oil. The separator ( I run a steeda) also seems to be working. I currently use TFS valvecovers with the matching oil...

I put my car in a ditch...need paint ideas

Another decent tip is in rwd/awd in the snow, don't try to engine brake very hard or the back end will usually try to come around. Just do all your braking before you need to turn and try to go with the 'one input at a time' rule if you are novice. Ie: if you are turning, you are not on the...

    Need a new 302 block

Haha, I can only put my $.02 on # 2.....because my rings are currently fubar for this exact reason.

    Need a new 302 block

^^.....neither of those 351s use a piston/rings I would even start to consider w/ boost though. a 351 is taller and wider. Swap headers, intake, and some mild futzing with charge piping is going to be your biggest things.

Lowering your mustang on a budget - with new parts!

I explained why I thought the spring choice was poor for the budget. I welcomed the idea of a budget drop. I suggested using a different spring that would cost the same amount of $ and perform better....which to me sounds like the exact point of a thread like this. ...I apologize...

    Vortech Preparation

You'll just use the upper discharge pipe from a fox. Those are actually nicer as you can get an aluminum one. The power pipe will be the same. No, I'd zip tie the vac lines. I had a few issues with mine trying to toss some lines off. I figured it wouldnt be so bad as it's not THAT much boost...

    Need a new 302 block

I suppose it would also depend on whether or not you own a stroker kit or not or if you are having something assembled. For instance, a D.S.S. 347 shortblock is about 2600. Just to buy a stroker kit is @ 1800 or so, machine and assemby work will be another 600, your girdles, hardware, and...

    Need a new 302 block

Well you will generally have to clearance for the rod bolts (I thought it was actually on the sides of the block ie webbing honestly) , and only a 347+. No one's going to sell a fully machined aftermarket block though as bore sizes differ too much per application. Unless someone sells one with a...
