    5w-20 or 5w-30 for 2002 GT?

    I use Mobil 1 synth 15W50. I read on the back of the Mobil 1 bottles that it is recommended for Muscle car applications, turbo'd and supercharged cars. Seems like you guys run real thin oil. Should I be running this heavy of oil?

    I am with Jackie Chan for shure. Put most of the stock parts back in it, and sell the aftermarket stuff separate. The car isnt worth as much as you put into it like that. You obviously invested a ton of cash into that thing and you are lucky to get 13 grand for it.

    If you are going less than 75 in 5th gear, I would say downshift to 3rd. Third will run out pretty quick, so go to 4th right after, then 5th. Never race in 5th because you will always lose (unless its some Kia Rio or something). Hope this helps and welcome to the wonderful world of standard...

    SVO Intake

    Ive heard its not as big of a gain as the PI swap, so most people do the PI swap for about the same or less money. Unless he's giving it to you for free or a really good price, that would be the only way its worth it IMO.

    This is very true. It raises the compression so it's not recommended you add a supercharger, turbo ,or nitrous. You are almost guaranteed to blow the motor. I've heard tons of instances on here as well as seen real-life instances.

    Im with Dr. Wu, That car prolly had like 35 or 40 grand worth of mods. Fist of all I heard a Turbo and nitrous. And that was a huge turbo. No doubt that ricers can be fast, but it takes mucho dough. Id rather had 2 or 3 SN95 Cobras for what he payed for that silly ricer.
