    Rolled 89 5.0 wont start?

    The fuel safety switch is right near the rubber plug in the trunk but it usually can't be reached through the plug. It's about five screws to remove the rear trim panel. Also if the car sat on the roof for any period of time oil might have leaked past the rings and fowled the plugs.

    Im using the digital display reader you can pick up at any parts store. I have the STI grounded to the battery and not connected to the reader.

    I pulled Key On Engine Off codes and got: 31 22 53 54 35 67 51 Any ideas? When I try an engine on test my car just sputters and almost floods out. I don't even have time to check the reader. My setup is a 92 computer and harness on a 1988 gt.

    I have a cervinis ram air hood on my 88. It was on the car when I bought it and it looks good but right now isn't functional. I think it's about 120$ for the ram air insert and k&n filter. The way I see it is that the ram air feature is just another way for the motor to get the air it needs...

    My car runs fine, it runs a little rich and a little jerky sometimes which is why i bought the code reader. I used to have one but it broke. I haven't tried reseting it.

    Yeah I have a book that tells me all of that info but I've read somewere that those codes my car threw are normal for an engine off test? Is this right?

    I pulled codes with the motor off and I got: 51 22 53 54 35 67 Also I was confused becasue my car is a 1988 GT but I put a computer and wire harness off of a 1992 on my car, but the computer reads in 2 digit codes not 3 digit?

    well for these calipers the pistons have to be screwed in. I just bought a tool that attachs to a wrench. Can you send me a pic of what your emergancy brake connection looks like??

    Yeah I would recommend that over anything. I'm getting mine this summer, but if you want to stay in budget then for a manual use a t5 and for an auto use a c4.

    T5 or stick with the C4. I would only use an AOD as a boat anchor.
