    It really is a great track. The elevation is low, they have good track prep usually. Lots of records are broken there. Richard Wilson ran a 12.89 bone stock in his Mach 1 there. Course he now sold it and has a terminator now, but that's another story.

    The elevation at my track is only 80' and I raced a 99+ GT and it ran a 14.6x @97.x and I have the timeslips to prove it lying around somewhere. I don't think I've ever seen one run in the 13's NA, but maybe they just can't drive around here...

    I'm not sure about GT's, but I know on Mach 1's, an X pipe will get you more HP and it's cheaper too. Header's are never worth the money unless it's long tubes

    For some reason, the first night after installing my X pipe it became unusually fast... I could be in 2nd gear, slam the gas and spin all the way to redline... it seemed to calm back down by the next day. I still gained 4.5 mph in the 1/4 with it though! :nice:

    My sister lives in Orlando so I might be down there within a year. By then I'd definitely race you, but right now I'd have to ask you to keep your stock tires or race me from a roll ;)

    I think you misunderstood my point. I wasn't comparing a GT to a '72 Honda Civic. I wasn't even saying a modded GT can't beat a Mach 1... in fact I think I admitted with mods it can have the same power. All I was saying is that any car can beat any car with mods and that kind of talk is rice...

    I saw my name under the list of low 13 second Mach's with very little mods and thought I'd chime in. I ran a 13.08 @ 108.63 with a 1.973 60'. You forgot to mention that I have flow master mufflers along with my X pipe and K&N drop in air filter, but the flow master's didn't do crap anyway...
