ok use to go to a web site that had tons of mustang vids on it but have not been on the net in almost a year and now I can remember what the site was, so maybe the ol' stangnet group can help me out. thanks
I see a few stangs around, and I work at Ft Jackson but I have asked around and just havent heard of any cruise ins or anything like that. I mean you are going to see some on the highway and all but I never see any in a group or anything.
just recently moved to columbia SC and havent really seen alot of stangs in the area, just wondering if there is anyone here that knows of any clubs or hangouts or tracks? thanks
Josh
mgw, you wont regret it. also go to svt performance and look for a guy thats named cobra bob, he makes gaskets for shifters that actually help reduce the noise. I have one with my mgw and it doesnt make any more noise than the stock unit.
ok I did a search and didnt find anyone saying they had one other than vendors for sale so I was wondering if anyone was using this kit for their 03-04 cobra? also what else was needed besides the kit and if you had someone else do the install what did it cost? I have read about it and thought...
I have had mac o/r h pipes on all 3 of my stangs. but on my 00 gt I had flowmasters and thought they were great until I bought my 99 cobra and it already had mac on it, man did it sound great. and I had no problems with it what so ever. I currently have a mac h pipe on my 03 cobra and I am...
so what you are saying is with an o/r h pipe it would be WAY loud? if so good cause thats what I want. when I got my car it had the flows on it and they just arent loud enough, also dont like the popping sound.
I had the eibachs on my 99 cobra and I like the way it looked and road. much better than stock. but if you want it done right coilovers is the way to go. but since I am cheap I will be going with h&r (not saying they are cheap, just dont cost as much as coilovers) for my 03. love the drop...
alot of people are starting to go the SCT route. it was very new when I was looking os noone had anything to say about it yet. so with that I bought the diablo predator. I like it and I am able to run diagnostics and read trouble codes. go in and make changes to fuel timing and things like...
I know nitto makes a 18 DR but cant remember what size they make, want to say 305. the only place you might have an issue is with the irs bolt. but I know if you do a search there are people that replaced that bolt or just ground it down.
you wont lose hp with the h pipe. anything you go to over the stock will gain hp. if you want a muscle car sound the h is the way to go. I have heard many x pipes and while they dont sound ricey they do however sound raspy and I just dont like it. thats just my opinion.
