    there are other options. Moroso sells a heating element that sticks/glues to the bottom of the engine oil pan and just like the block heaters gets plugged in to your 120AC.....and I've even seen some cheaper units that insert into the engine oil dipstick tube.....

    that elbow could be the problem as they are prone to leaks, I'd get a whole new hose n' elbow from FoMoCo as it seems to-be a fairly common problem wth them cracking and leaking.....

    there is NO cable, it's electronic....so it either got a bad speed'o head in the dash, bad VSS or stripped or missing speed'o gears in the trans.....

    not true, he is asking about the tension cables and there is ONLY one part # for 1995 to 2004 and thats the part #'s I posted above........ the tension cables are the ones that draw the top up and over.....

    check the hose going from the PCV valve to the plenum for hole(s) or cracks and did you get an oem Ford PCV valve? aftermarket ones do not work well on Fords.......:nono:
