    Mach 1 Auto 7k redline?

    I know that the 03-04 Mach 1's that are manual have the same crank as the cobras and are capable of safely going to 7,000 RPMS, but what about the auto's? Do they to go to 7 grand when you go WOT? What crank do they have? same as 00-04 GT?

    Any reason your looking to swap just that engine? why not an aftermarket crate engine? Whats the condition on your current engine? is a supercharger or some spray an option? I think you'd get more bang for your buck from simple power adders but I am unaware of your current situation

    As already stated without forged internals that engine would surely pop once it hit the upper 400's. But if he did replace the internals with forged parts I see no reason why he couldn't run oodles of boost and easily produce those numbers......Oh he would also probably need some trans work...
