    Agreed, the coils will take take time to settle into their nominal ride height. I'm suprised the rear dropped so much, what sort of eye config do they have (standard, mid, reverse)... I got 4.5 leafs on mine with mid eyes and it dropped it only about .5" to 1". :shrug:

    I would consider taking it apart if possible, that way, if any rust does develop in areas that you cannot get to while it is being stored- being together it will be harder to take apart. You can probably do the same thing to all of the parts to keep them in good condition. Take everything out...

    In tyler's defense... I believe most impacts are rated off of a 1/2" hose, so they don't produce 'quite' the amount of torque using the 3/8" hose most of us have. Other than that, I'll normally impact them on for a sec and then either torque them to the right spec or if I'm in a rush put it...

    Sounds like either: 1. Wrong lugs 2. Wrong installation (tightened without full car weight on them) 3. (most likely) a lot of new wheels need to be put on, torqued, driven for a little bit, and then re torqued to seat them correctly

    before '88, the econos had the two pump system. low pressure in the tank ( leading me to believe that it would have no/less baffling for the low pressure) and a high pressure pump on a rail. from 88 to 91 they had an integral high pressure pump in the tank to feed the 5.0 and 5.8
