1990 GT, R block stroker, PTK, 88mm Turbonetics, Street Car Build

Finally scored a set of heads. AFR 225 "Outlaw" CNC Race Heads PN#1451. These should make some power... They have 58cc combustion chambers, 2.08intake/1.60exhaust, 10 degree locks and retainers, 7/16 rocker studs and guide plates. Valvetrain will be changed depending on what direction I take...

    new headliner....

Looks good man. I have a mint set of gray sun visors you can have for the cost of shipping if you want them. I'm converting to black and would rather see you get some use out of them instead of stuffing them into a box to sit in my shop for God knows how long. Just PM me and let me know.

    Getting it from behind

That looks like it'll get the job done, although there will be a huge heat load on the system with the placement of the evap. Does the system come pre-charged with refrigerant? It looks like the evaporator is mounted in the trunk compartment while the compressor and condenser remain in the...

1990 GT, R block stroker, PTK, 88mm Turbonetics, Street Car Build

There are reasons behind everything I do. Sometimes, I just do whatever the hell I want regardless of the monetary outcome. Modifying cars isn't a money making endeavor, so I have a career for that. I do this for fun. Working on them is 90% of the enjoyment for me nowadays. Once they're done, I...

1990 GT, R block stroker, PTK, 88mm Turbonetics, Street Car Build

What's the point of posting that in here? Everything is for sale at all times, no matter what stage of completion. You should know the name of the game by now. I'm asking for a sale or trade for a notchback because that's the body style I prefer. A car will be built regardless.

1990 GT, R block stroker, PTK, 88mm Turbonetics, Street Car Build

I said progress would be slow through the holidays, and that it has been. By slow I mean there has been none. I attempted to sell off the kit and turbo due to aspirations of going with twins, but everyone is broke. At this point the project is in a holding pattern until I get some more free time...

Build Thread Want To Blow 5 Years And $50k On A Foxbody? Step By Step Instructions Inside!

HELP!! Cam and specs without taking off valve cover?

I see, that makes more sense now. It looks like you have the cam from a 1967 Pontiac Catalina. That was a common swap in the early 90s. They make good low end torque but you'll sacrifice some top end. Have you considered Splenda injection? You can modify the pintle caps on your injectors to...

HELP!! Cam and specs without taking off valve cover?

My resources show that camshaft to be an Utz pretzel rod. Are you sure you read it correctly?

That vert is all business. Kudos for modding a convertible to that level, most people leave them alone. Very nice. What were the dyno numbers?

HELP!! Cam and specs without taking off valve cover?

In the event that the car has been converted to disc brakes in the rear, the code should be laser etched on the reverse side of the rotor. In some cases, during a rear disc swap, the camshaft will be removed all together and not replaced. This does not seriously effect the performance of the car.

HELP!! Cam and specs without taking off valve cover?

There's a way to figure out what cam you have in the car without taking off the valve cover. First, jack the car up safely and secure it on jackstands. Remove the passenger side rear tire. Remove the drum brake assembly. Printed on the inner diameter of the brake drum will be a 22 digit code of...

Yeah, because you've never missed a gear. It's the internet, so everyone will believe that. That combo has a lot left in it man. Love the look of the car too. Nice!
