LOL meat, I just tend to enjoy my interstate driving at a higher velocity than most. Being a pilot, I'm used to going 500mph daily and I must have speed otherwise I wouldn't be driving a cobra. I must do my best to avoid tickets as speeding tickets for me will potentially have negative effects...
I am somewhat of a countermeasures nut. I have a bell vector 985(hindsight is 20/20 should have bought the V1 for the arrows) and it works awesome, I also have a Phantom RCD(active radar jammer)now called the Scorpion RCD....those who think it doesn't work, think again....unless he is behind...
So that's where you guys were heading, mach1grrl.....I was just out for BBQ, I should have followed you guys to carol stream.....we'll be in wheaton tomorrow if anyone is up for it. Come by 6pm if you want a space.
WHEATON CRUISE NIGHT
Anyone going to attend the Wheaton Show? My brother and I will be there with our cobras, it's Friday night official time is 7-9pm but we usually get there around 530-600pm to get a decent spot. For those who haven't attended, they close off Front Street and everyone parks...
Don't go with flowcrappers on your 04, it will not sound much different than stock. I had mine on for a week before I ripped them off an tossed them in the garbage. Flowmasters on this motor do not sound anything like they did on my 01 which sounded great. I'm just running straight pipes now...

Both of these are pretty good. The spring install isn't difficult, just time consuming. Borrow an internal spring compressor from autozone or some other local shop.
01 cobra
Hey man, go buy my 01 cobra I traded in at Joe Cotton ford on North Ave. 24K miles, Eibachs and Flowmasters, True Blue metallic. I took good care of it, don't know what they're asking for it though.
Jason
I still haven't taken it to a real dyno yet, but something is definitley wrong. All I have to go off of right now is my G-tech....don't know if anyone else has used one but they are pretty accurate for ballpark numbers. Anyways, 2 weeks ago I did pulls with it and was averaging about 350hp, I...
Hmmm, I did the CAI homemade style. I ran some 4" tubing from the fog light intake strait to the snorkel. Maybe I'll take that off and see if I notice a difference, I definitely did not tune it afterwards. Thanks for the tip.
Trust me, I shift with the best, it's not my technique. I had an 01 that I got consistent 13.22's with. I'm going to take it to the dyno, from what I've seen posted, around 380 rwhp should be accurate. If not, it goes back to the dealer.
