Correct LED turn signal wiring questions..

I will be buying them from Year One because I have a gift certificate and a 20% discount code for them. I personally don't like the sequential tail lights anyway. Would it be easier to get at the flasher if I full the instrument bezel? So it sounds like I need the 2-prong, what is the 3...

Correct LED turn signal wiring questions..

I am tired of my dim brake lights so I am going to put in some LED taillights as well as LED front turn signals. I understand that I need to use a new turn signal flasher to make them function correctly, but I am not sure which one. Yearone has 2 different LED flashers, one of them has 2...

    wideband AFR vs. $30 gauge

any have opinions on the AEM wideband guage? they seem pretty affordable and even have different face plates and rings. I have been looking at one of these to aid me in fine tuning the carb vs paying for dyno time.

    New guy here.

The flowmasters were on the car for years, welded to a rusty 2.25" exhaust with no h or x-pipe. I upgraded to the Magnaflow stainless 2.5" system w/ X-pipe after I put the 347 in. The goal was to get as much power out of the motor as I could with the better system and freer (sp?) flowing...

Definitely sounds less lumpy and probably feels less lumpy. If you youtube my user 'KJDIVES' you should come up with some videos of both exhausts and you can definitely tell a difference.

yeah, I usually run Premium gas, but I have even run it on regular (not at the track though) without any issue. My idle is pretty lumpy, although not as much as it was when I had flowmasters, the magnaflows smoothed it about it.

    New guy here.

If you are building a 347 look for something like AFR 185 heads, and a cam like the Comp Xtreme Energy 274 or 280 rollers. For brakes if you want quick and cheap go with the Granada set-up, if you want to spend a bit more you can go for a late model swap like the '04 Cobra 13" brakes...

    opinion of shifters

I have a Pro 5.0 on my Tremec 3550 and really like it, although as mentioned it is definitely bigger then a stock shifter, so i had to open up the shifter hole in my floor to get it to fit. I have driven my buddy's '04 with a Tri-ax and preferred the feel on mine.

    Harmonic balancer for 331 stroker?

I got a real nice SFI rated one for my 347...it was a summit brand, it can be 3 or 4 bolt and gives you the option for either 28 or 50 oz. very reasonable priced and looks good.

    1966 Coupe - 17" wheel fitment question

The ones in your link should work with out any problems. With 17x8's your best bet is 4.75" BS, but with a smaller tire 4.5" could work as well. I run 17x8 4.75" BS, with 245/45s on all 4 corners of my 65 coupe.

Any regrets going with a classic?

I have to agree with all the above comments, I have had my 65 for close to 15 years it was my daily driver when I first got it then it slowly shifted to summer only duty then to cruise night/weekends/car shows/track duty. I also have a vette, and I say all the time that I would keep the stang...

Average price for a clean 66 restomod

15-20k if you look around for a bit, 20k should get you most of the good bolt-ons your looking for, may have to look around for awhile but you will find one.

Average price for a clean 66 restomod

Describe what kind of parts you would want to have on it, and are you willing to do any work either mechanical or paint or do you just want a finished car? Reason I ask is that 35k is a LOT thats like dealer prices. You could buy a real nice stock fastback for much less and just put all the...

    Will this work? (Flywheel)

I believe most aftermarket clutches have dual bolt patterns...I would call the clutch company's tech line.

Anybody ever do something stupid and know it was a risk?

mine has so many dings and chips in it, i have given up worrying about it, I care if I get a new scratch, but I don't loose sleep over it, plus it proves to people that I actually drive it!

What would it take to run 12.8xx?

300 rwhp and good tires will definately get you there. I have over 300rwhp, my best on street tires was 13.2, putting on drag radials dropped me a half second right off the bat with no practice on them.
