Or buy a 98 Cobra wheel for a spare. They clear the 00R front brakes. The 00R Brembos should have been stock on GTs, mustang brakes are completely inadequate for a "performance" car.
Ford says 5W50 in the GT Supercar and 2007+ GT-500. Also in the mod motors in other countries that are built on the same line as the ones used here take 10W30 and 5W40. Look up the maintainence for the BOSS 290, or 315 motors in the Australian Falcons you arent gonna see 5W20 on those mod motors.
Its actually a really good oil, they just dont make it in the correct weight for my Volvo. When i had the mustang it got Mobil 1 5w30 with a FL-820S, the Volvo gets German Castrol.
not sure, i just know by looking at that part number what years it came off of. does it really matter, it will hold pretty much anything you can throw at it.
numbers are wrong. they do not supercede to eachother. The dates on the parts should be date of manufacture.
the one off your car which has a service part number of 1R3Z-12B577-AA Im showing is on backorder until 4Oct2010 due to a component part shortage from teh supplier. They estimate...
a pry bar does not have the same force a truck would have. plus one slip on the gas pedal and your k-member is getting ripped out of the car. 2 of my buddies tried something similar with bad results YouTube - Retard Motor Pull
10w30 is fine. When new Ford called for 5w30, the 5w20 was back spec'd in 2001. The 2005-06 GT Supercar and the 2007+ GT500s call for 5w50. The Ford modular motors in Australia usually call for 0w40, 5w40, 5w50 or 10w60 on the BOSS models.
Most likely a race prep shop or a frame shop that fixes cars that were in accidents. You can buy a engine hanger that would normally be used for dropping the transaxle on a fwd car to hold the motor up to make the job easier.
im sure it is possible, just more work. The basic theory is the same though, everything is based off those rear lower control arm body mount points. just like how all alignments are based off the rear wheels.
