    Yes, but I think that negates the whole purpose of running the 3.90 gear. The 3.73 speedo gear is the closest match and should slow your speedo and odometer down, lol.

    The B does have a fair amount of duration, I believe 226 off the top of my head. Its designed for NA apps, and the E, with its lower duration, is designed to accomodate the blower crowd.

    I think he means, will if fit under the intake manifold. I have seen tall valve covers not fit under a trickflow intake, and the owner had to use a phenolic spacer to move the upper up away from the valve covers.

    What are you talking about tight clearance by using the E7's?? They use the same valves and valve angle as the E6's. And yes you can use a cam.

    Do you have a hydro or mechanical clutch, if its mech. it may need adjusted. Go from 1st to reverse because most trannys dont have a reverse synchro, and why would you want to go into reverse at 10 mphs anyways??

    Im surprised you even have a bad lifter, those things hardly ever go bad. Anyways, if your getting new lifters, avoid Ford Racing crap because everything they make is outsourced reboxed crap. Crane makes these replacement lifters and I think they are the cheapest on the market.
