Which 2012 model should I get?

If you think you are going to keep the V6 mileage advantage with a supercharger, you will be disappointed. You will likely end up with worse than GT mileage plus you will be burning premium gas, not the regular that the GT can use. If you are already looking for more performance out of the V6...

Where can i find 05 mustangs cheap ?

Craigslist has a ton of them on there, I just looked at LA and there are about 50 of them posted in the last few days. Might be some deals in there if you can cut dealers out of it.

lower control arms for street use only

Upgraded LCAs are usually to get rid of wheelhop that happens mainly because of the cheap bushings on the stock arms.

    supercharger?

Not that it has the best potential for power out there, but the Roush M-90 based supercharger is down to $3900. With a tune, pulley, and intake they are good for about 480 hp at the crank. I have had good luck with mine so far.

How tight are the '05-09 interiors?

Why don't you just go and sit in one? Only you can really decide if you have enough room.

    2011 Mustang or

If you want to spend $45k and can wait, I would hold out for the Boss 302 next year. What would your reason be for spending the extra money on the 427R, looks or performance? For performance bang for your buck, the 427R is not worth the extra money over the 5.0. You can get 435 hp out of a...

    increase boost retune

You would need a tune, that is a pretty big increase in boost. You will lean it out real bad, I would bet on it blowing up if you just throw the smaller pulley on it.

    5.0 Coyote crate engine

There is no way the price would be comparable between the crate engine and a supercharger. The crate engine is $7k plus $1800 for the computer to run it, plus installation. The power steering in the 5.0 is electric as well, so you will have to get your steering to work as well. You would be...

difference between v6 and v8 prochargers

You will most likely have to modify it to a point where you will be much better off buying a V8 kit. You will also have to get a tune for the GT that the V6 kit would not come with. I do not know what your power goals are or how much you can spend, but Roush is selling their left over polished...

Mod Immediately, Buy '10 or '11

The block on the 2011 GT500 is aluminum, so the biggest cause of the extra weight in the old Shelby is gone. Another reason for the weight difference is the blower, which you will be adding to the GT anyways. If you are really looking to push the engine with a blower and meth plus all those...

    05-09 front bumper

New Take-Off - Mustang Buy a takeoff bumper, they will be a lot cheaper than buying a new one. These are the ones that places like Roush, Saleen, Steeda, etc. take off when they buy cars, so they should have zero mileage on them.

Beefing up stock brakes, could use some advice

Goodridge stainless lines seem to be the most common, never heard any complaints about them. The best fluid for the money is probably ATE Super Blue. I have Hawk HPS pads and I like them, some people like EBC, and there are others out there. Do not try to get race pads for the street, they...

    Roush 427R Good deal?

It is not difficult if they will come out without snapping off in the head. Ford used a crappy plug design in the S197 and they tend to get stuck and snap off which can be a huge pain to get out.

    Roush 427R Good deal?

I did a KBB value for a regular 2007 GT with 76k miles on it and it came back at $19k which seemed high but I would say that $17k for a 427R sounds like a pretty good deal. The spark plugs may give you a hard time if they have never been changed though. See if you can have the dealership...

VMP Tuning - Buy Ford SCT & GM Custom Handheld Flash Tuners Performance Economy Towing: VMP 500HP package for 05-09 Roushcharged Mustangs Give them a call, don't just order it online. They can probably give you a break on the price if you already have the steeda intake.

    My Mustang-Modifications

Get the VMP500 kit from VMP tuning. They have a great reputation for tuning the M90 Roushchargers. You can save a little money since you already have the Steeda intake that is included in their kit. Just call them and let them know you have it already. I think Justin is the guy you want to...

    Mustang lost power after 4.10

When you changed the axle ratio on the tuner did it upload the stock tune instead of the custom tune? I know you said it did not change the A/F ratio, but it is the only thing I can think of. There should not be any mechanical reason you would feel a decrease in performance, so it has to be a...

    building up a 07 v6 need help

Only cheap way to keep up is with nitrous, but it is only cheap up front, filling the bottle adds up. There is a saying that always applies "Fast, Cheap, and Reliable; pick two." I would get a tune and some rear gears and be happy with the improvement, don't expect to be as fast as a GT or an...
