    Removing Spring Isolators?

If you take out the fronts you should have the alignment checked being it will lower a little, not sure if its enough for alignment. The only thing leaving them out it might make noise. I dont have them in the front and no noise at all. I have had over a hundred 60s and 70s car and none of them...

    challenger

They also sell the Challenger Drag package for about the same price. They are 1000 pounds lighter and will be legal NHRA cars but not for street. I seen them race on NHRA dragracing and I think they ran low 11s or in the 10s. Here is a pic of one.

    Pic Request

Here is a pic of my 99 with 9"s on the rear. They filled out the fenderwells enough to match the front wells to look even but you need more offset to get the wheels out closer to the lips or 10.5 wheels.

Bought a Carbon Fiber hood and trunk

Rule of thumb is lose 100lbs and gain a .10 in the 1/4. I had a problem with my Nova running in the 10s and it wasn't legal for 10s so I added a 3" pipe full of lead that weighed 300lbs and it slowed the car .30, well for a while then it went 10s again and they threw me out.

    Installed bullitt brakes: Problem!

Did you have the rotors turned? I always turn new rotors being the lay around so long on their sides and they will sometimes warp a little. The problem you are talking about is the same thing mine had and it was a very small warp. Turned them and fixed it. Also if you have a frozen caliper it...

gas is $4 here, is any one here grandma shift ?

I only put in a half tank of fuel hoping that it might save a little fuel with less weight in the tank. Run 40 psi and never let the engine go over 2000 and I have got 27 and that is sitting in traffic not moving much for a 1/2 hour

A Few Questions on S197 Mustangs?

If your getting one get a GT, My 05 v6 gets the same mileage as my 03 GT, not saying that a new GT gets the same but they are so close that I wouldn't hesitate for a second to get a GT. Actually. I had A 95 v6 and went to a 99 gt Then to a 05 V6 and then to my 03GT and between all the cars...

Need new 03 GT head unit with iphone integration

Im sure your talking bluetooth. I had that deck your looking at and it worked well but the volume when your speaking is a little low for the person on the other end and I had talk louder then normal. The only way it can control a Iphone is if the Iphone has the same docking connector as an ipod.

2003 GT 6 Disc Player CD Error

are you using standard cds or burned cds? These things hate burned cds and I tried them and they worked then started screwing up and wouldn't eject. Best thing is to disconnect it and wait a while then hook it back up and try to get them out. I had to use tweezers to get one out then the rest...

Wheels stripped and installed with taller tires

Looking at sumitomo tires and comparing the 235/50 to the 245/45 the section width is the same at 9.7" and the tread width is 8.5 on the 235 and 8.8 on the 245. Thats not much of a difference. I would go back to the 275 on the rear if I can get a little taller but the dont make a 275/45. Im just...

Wheels stripped and installed with taller tires

Its because sidewall bulge. The rear wheels are 9s and the fronts are 8s. with a 255 on the rear and 235 on the front the sidewall bulge is the same. Also I cant find a set of matching 245 and 255s.

Wheels stripped and installed with taller tires

Im going to go with 235/50 up front and 255/50 on the rear. Its only .79" difference. I dont think the abs will care about that.

Wheels stripped and installed with taller tires

Is that true? I am going to put on the 245/45s on just to see( my stock tires) on the front. The difference is only 1 3/8overall. I will paint them but tonight it was sitting in a dark place and it looked great but I know in the morning it wont look that good. The rears are 9s and the fronts are 8s
