    Finally! New wheels and tires.

The one wheel is the only bad one. Honestly, when i had the wheels on there i never really noticed the marks. I only really paid much attention to them when i had the wheels off, or when i was cleaning them. They're not perfect, but they're still pretty cheap for anyone looking for a decent...

    Finally! New wheels and tires.

Dan, Thanks for the offer but i'm really only interested in lower control arms.

    Finally! New wheels and tires.

Sorry this took so long. I've been having problems with my digital camera and had to buy a new battery and charger. Pics of the wheels for sale are available here: http://mustanglife.tenmagazines.com/mygallery.ten-id-3738-album-8577

    Finally! New wheels and tires.

I tried flipping them first and they still touched at full droop. They might clear at normal ride height, but i want to make absolutely sure nothing is going to rub back there. My wheels are +24mm offset. Maybe yours are +18mm?

    Finally! New wheels and tires.

Had i known you were selling them sooner, i would have probably bought your wheels instead. That's okay though because i'm really happy with what i've got now. I just have to figure out the clearance issues and i'll be good to go. Hopefully lowering the car doesn't cause any other problems...

    Finally! New wheels and tires.

I live in the Kingsgate division of Kirkland. Guess someone else is your neighbor. :) I thought about just replacing the bushings, but i know that it's a giant pain, so doing the whole control arm might be easier, though a bit more expensive.

    Finally! New wheels and tires.

    Of course i stayed completely legal and got 35% all-around. *cough*twenty*cough* :D

    Finally! New wheels and tires.

After several problems, mis-ships, mistakes, etc. I finally got some new wheels and tires for the '90 Mustang. 17x8 front with 245/45-17 and 17x9 rear with 275/40-17. The tires are Nitto 555Rs (not the DRs or road race tires). Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but i really like...

Taking offers on my 89 Fox

You should have plenty of room once the wife is gone, no? :D I've always maintained that a man needs nothing more than a car (or a few cars), a garage, and toilet to be perfectly content. Once the divorce is final, sell the house and move into a 3-bay shop. :flag:

    Question for you guys

I think that if you really sit down and figure out all the costs, you won't be saving much by selling the Mustang and buying a Focus. Sure, it'll use less gas. But i bet the insurance won't be much cheaper, if at all (newer car). Also figure in how much you're going to lose on the sale of...

    Halo / XBOX party day

How the heck are you guys playing with multiple people on 26" TVs? When i have people over we use one 43" (four players), one 27" (two players), and one 24" (two players). Since there's a 4-Xbox limit, i can't imagine playing on that setup with more than 4 people at a time???

    Rattling from bellhousing

I have the same thing in my car. In my case, i don't think it's the throwout bearing itself. I'm fairly positive it's the clutch fork "jingling" against the throwout bearing. I can get under the car and put a very small amount of pressure on the clutch fork and the noise stops. I've decided...

Couple of Congrats Are In Order

Congrats to all the winners. Earl, your car and Brandon's car were the best foxes on display by far. They never fail to make me drool. Though, i must give credit where it's due to the blue GT that looks showroom new (except for the hideous seat covers). I don't know how the owner of that...

    Driveway spring installs suck...

You guys really aren't making me look forward to new springs and struts. Hopefully i'll be lowering my car within a month or two.

Taking offers on my 89 Fox

Nooooooo! Nobody should ever HAVE to sell their Mustang. Especially not due to divorce. Sorry to hear the car is on the block. Hope things work out and you get to keep it.

    Deleting Rear Seat...

Good luck finding a "pre made" rear seat delete for a hatchback fox. Whether your interior is grey, black, blue, red...it doesn't matter. Rear seat deletes for the SN95 and the fox notch aren't hard to find (or make), but deletes for the hatch are another story.

    looking for some chrome rims...

I don't think the modern Bullit wheels fit on the 60's Mustangs properly. The older cars have a narrow track and are designed for a (i think) 4.5" backspacing. Most of the Bullit replicas on the market use a 5.72" backspacing. Do some measuring to make sure these will fit before you buy.
